A helping hand in your home
For many elderly people, loneliness is a real issue. How can we care for loved ones or family, when we ourselves have busy lives?
Homecare Together offers a solution. Our companionship care service, offers complete flexibility and can be used on a regular or ad hoc basis. We can help support you in your daily activities and in doing so, help you to form a lasting bond, with your care worker.
Companionship care, can be your carer making you a meal, a cup of tea and a chat or bringing you out, to keep you active in your community. You might like the simple activity of going for a walk locally, but would prefer someone to go with you. Homecare Together carers, can help you to link with services that you might enjoy, including community groups. We can help you to participate in existing or new hobbies including arts and crafts. Our carers can also do some light house work and ironing, whilst spending time with you in your home.
Many clients feel that their loved ones or family carers are already very busy, so using our companionship service, can be a great way to provide some family relief, whilst also introducing the idea of care too.
Homecare Together can also offer full time live- in care, to provide assistance, 24 hours 7 days per week. This care is provided by a small team of carers, who can assist you with all aspects of your life in your own home. Many clients use this option, as an alternative to nursing home care. This care can be very successful, when a couple are planning to stay in their own home together, instead of looking for residential care.
There is substantial tax relief available on homecare and makes one to one care, an affordable option.
